I just know it. And I also think it speeds up certain thinking not having to go through the cycle of visualizing and assessing the visualization. But definitely impairs other things like thinking about geometric relationships.
The task is very simple: Thousands of super fast fairly good contractors show up at your company's front door. You can't really trust them with data, they do occasionally make mistakes, they have to learn everything about your organization and product from scratch, and btw they leave in 10 minutes again.
If you can design your organization to handle this, you gain superpowers. And of course this is a management problem rather than coding exercise.
Because there are so many different jobs all over the place. Job boards are full of people crying out for help. Every morning I wake up to a literal sea of emails from hiring managers looking for my aid. I only choose those jobs that look interesting and only work with the people who pay and treat me well. /s
AI is definitely the loop. Humans are at the top (for now) making overall decisions and at the bottom (trivialities that the AI doesn't have access to or requires physical access). Everything in the middle is a black ever-growing and expanding blob / orb.
Some people reluctantly position themselves solely at the bottom or at the top.
Not sure I see what would displace humans from the top. AI keeps getting better at the middle bit. Sure, that means you can be lazier with instructions from the top. But surely we see diminishing returns from that- you can only RL so hard, you need increasingly large inputs to create sufficiently specific outputs
