You are expecting everyone to be as aware of these issues as you are. I don't think white supremacy has as large of a share of the mindspace in south korea as you think - not every issue (even if it has a wikipedia page!) is burned into everyone's mind across the globe. But I am happy to hear that every time you pick a username, you make sure it is free of dog whistles in all cultures and that the letters and numbers cannot be picked out or rearranged in a way that hints at one.
A planned major update to align with other countries platforms, which other countries did estimate to need 9 years for. So they did have plenty of time to test that update, as well as preparing a fast fallback, in case of not-working.
Everything I've ever heard about railway and train software suggests AI cannot possibly make things any worse than they already are. Conservatism causes no changes to be possible, which means many changes have to be made via workarounds and virtualization wrappers which cause a giant mess over time which create breakage which creates a conservative culture/laws.
I don't understand the part about undercover mode. How is this different from disabling claude attribution in commits (and optionally telling claude to act human?)
On that note, this article is also pretty obviously AI-generated and it's unfortunate the author didn't clean it up.
It's people overreacting, the purpose of it is simple, don't leak any codenames, project names, file names, etc when touching external / public facing code that you are maintaining using bleeding edge versions of Claude Code. It does read weird in that they want it to write as if a developer wrote a commit, but it might be to avoid it outputting debug information in a commit message.

(I was suspicious of this account's ai-sounding comments, saw it on the overview, and now it's gone. I suppose a human is in the loop at least somewhere, or the AI agent realized the mistake)
