Corporations are the ones who make money for the government.

The people elect the leaders, and the corporations bankroll the operations. Every time a new hot startup comes about, the government anticipates an army of highly paid (read: top tax bracket) individuals being cultivated.

No they don't, people do, always have and always will. The owners of these corporations simply have an undue level of control over the collective wealth created by the people.

What you said sounds nice, but is it actually the case? Because as far as I can tell, we're all out here being willfully delegated work by corporations rather than taking the risk of doing it ourselves.
